AtticLab
AtticLab was founded by Sergii Vasylchuk, … Their team of tech-savvy blockchain developers and enthusiasts is located in Kyiv, Ukraine. As a Block Producer, they run their infrastructure with nodes located in Ukraine, Singapore, and Germany and are renowned for being one of the fastest EOS Block Producers on the Mainnet, consistently achieving sub milisecond benchmarks. AtticLab contributes to the development of the EOS community by building tools and services. They have launched myeoswallet.one, a one-stop solution for transferring and managing EOS holdings and creating EOS accounts for free. They also have atticlab.net/vote/ — a service that allows voting for block producers without having to use the private key online as well as github.com/atticlab/eos-munin-plugins — a set of plugins developed to make monitoring EOS nodes and accounts a seamless experience. They are active in Telegram channels, helping other Block Producers boost their CPU execution times using a step-by-step guide. As a part of their education initiatives, they are developing eosbook.info. This service aims to make technical concepts behind EOS easy-to-grasp. Finally, in collaboration with codex.one they launched an EOS CPU Aid Campaign.
BP.Fish
BP.Fish was founded by Marshall Long and Zhao Guofeng. The team is respected for their strong baremetal infrastructure network which is found in the USA, Isreal, Belize, Germany and Singapore. BP.Fish prides itself on embracing the heterogeneous nature of the EOS community, and has one of the most diverse teams within the ecosystem. Their team members hail from all over the world and include marketing from Israel and South Africa, Devops for the United States, and a lead architect based in Chile. This embrace of multiculturalism stems from Marshall Long, who is also a founding member of the LINK foundation, an organization which works at bridging the cultural gap between the East and the West. From its inception, LINK has made great strides in combating cultural barriers. BP.Fish has been working on Hodlong; a fully decentralized, distributed file storage solution. It acts as a universal javascript library, which allows secure content to be distributed to any platform. Hodlong is one of the most complex dApps within the EOS ecosystem, and is already in the process of onboarding users. It is a revolutionary product that will change the face of distributed file storage solutions. BP.Fish is committed to decentralization and shows this in the diversity of its team and projects. As a Block Producer, BP.Fish is very vocal in governance discussions, providing perspectives stemming from their extensive experience in the Blockchain space.
EOS Nairobi
EOS Nairobi was founded by Daniel Kimotho, Felix Macharia, Steve Kiarie, and Brian Kimotho. EOS Nairobi is contributing to the geographic distribution of the network by hosting bare-metal infrastructure in Nairobi, Kenya. With a focus on training African developers and incubating the entrepreneurial spirit in Africa, EOS Nairobi shows that their focus is on planting the seeds necessary to grow EOSIO on the continent. EOS Nairobi has partnered with OCI and Phil Mesnier to run EOS developer workshops, while also collaborating with various universities in Africa towards the same end. The team has also incubated and advised various EOS startups in Africa such as Ubuntu Energy Ledger, Africonnect, and Team Btax. Members of the team are also founding members of the Africa Digital Asset Foundation (ADAF) which is working to create a dynamic framework for standardizing digital assets from a technical and legal perspective across the continent of Africa.
EOS Vibes
EOS Vibes operates as a Decentralised Autonomous Team whereby all team members are encouraged to get involved in any project(s) that excite them or where they can add value. Their baremetal infrastructure is located in France and they have backup infrastructure in Germany and the Netherlands. They have been active in encouraging and educating EOS token holders as to exactly how to withdraw their tokens from exchanges and create their own EOS account(s). Their EOS Account Creator tool is a popular account creation tool available on EOS. They built the tool having new users in mind, making it as simple as possible for anyone to use, even the technically shy. They strongly believe that ease of use and simplicity will be key ingredients for the universal adoption of EOS and they take this principle as the premise to everything they do. EOSVibes was instrumental in the development of the HireVibes dApp (to be launched in 2019 Q2) and are also heavily involved in privEOS — a privacy protocol for the next evolution of EOS-based dApps.
HK EOS
HKEOS was founded by Sungjae Chung (Jae), Devin Perera and Hugo Campanella. HKEOS is a Malta private limited self-funded company with a hybrid infrastructure with nodes in Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo. Active well before Mainnet launch, HKEOS has been an excellent and consistent contributor to the EOS ecosystem. They were the first to publish an EOS debug guide and were key in proposing the Ghostbsuters security approach (infrastructure, launching, and meshing scripts). HKEOS is one of the developers of bloks.io, having contributed to the UI/UX design portion of the site. HKEOS has also built EOS Test Cave, the first automated testing suite for EOS.IO contracts, which has now been integrated into Block.one’s automated test suites. They also built the Worker Proposal System (contract and portal) for the community voluntarily. In terms of community outreach, they are very active in incubating and advising early-stage companies including Uncloak, L2, and Lumeos as well as consulting later stage companies such as AuDigent. HKEOS is building community in Hong Kong, hosting bi-monthly Meetups. Finally, HKEOS has been crucial in maintaining the EOS-Mainnet repository.
