Chintai is a digital resource & asset leasing engine. Peaking in December 2018, the native EOS resource market swelled to over 21M EOS, and paid out 90K EOS interest in just one week. Because utility tokens like EOS will likely be drivers of the new digital economy, we’re currently building Chintai to allow users to lease any utility token on any blockchain. The DAPP Network by LiquidApps has the potential to infinitely scale the EOSIO ecosystem. DAPP tokens are staked to “plug into” DAPP Service Providers (DSPs). Rather than relying on the given conditions of the mainnet, dApps can buy “packages” from DSPs that provide specific horizontal scaling services for their specific needs.
For example, LiquidApps demonstrated how the Block.One game “Elemental Battles” could store all of its data in “vRAM” — the first product available on the DAPP Network that allows DSPs to store data offchain, but retain the security advantages of the EOS mainnet. Looking into the future, the DAPP network will have a multitude of scaling solutions such as vCPU and IBC. Since it appears that the DAPP network will be capable of servicing horizontal scaling solutions in combination with any consensus mechanism, we’re forecasting high demand and usage.
Leasing DAPP Network Resources on Chintai
If the DAPP Network follows a similar trend as EOS mainnet, the free market will organically decide the value of the utility benefits of dApp tokens. As usage of the DAPP Network increases, and resources become inevitably scarce, we expect the formation of a new leasing market that is kindred with the native EOS resource economy on Chintai.
Furthermore, the DAPP network is chain agnostic. Given the technical agility of the DAPP network, it’s possible that value could be captured and circulated through the DAPP network by numerous blockchains. Consequently, Chintai has the potential to play a vital role in lowering costs barriers for access DAPP network resources that used by countless blockchains.
Chintai as a DSP?
By becoming a DSP, Chintai could easily provide specific services for dApps that want to leverage the Chintai leasing engine. We’re currently exploring several options that will plug Chintai into the DAPP network. This intriguing possibility would lead to Chintai earning DAPP tokens as a DSP, which would be recycled to buy and burn CHEX, resulting in another stream of revenue that contributes to constant deflationary pressure on CHEX. As our plans become formulated, we will share more information about the potential of Chintai becoming a DSP.
